A - I chose Eryn's "The Mask" because she explained what parts of the poem she chose for Figuartive Language very well.

B - I chose "Time to Come" on Branden's website because it really related to his theme "Time" as the poem was about how death is inevitable to everyone at any time.

C - I chose "Skyscraper" on Rachel's website because it really related to her theme "Self Acceptance" and "Growing Up" as the poem is about Demi accepting herself.

D - Again, I chose Rachels website and the piece I chose was "Growing Up" because it basically talks about the things we come across when growing up & maturing.

E - I chose "The Dream Called Life" on Lina's website because her 5 step process helped me understand the poem more.

2)

I chose Dustins theme because for some reason I felt as the birds on his website brought "happiness" - just like the theme he chose.

1.) a. Eryn's "The Mask" because the Figurative Language of the entire poem being a metaphor was very specific.
b. Brooke's "Nature" because since the poem was about how people don't appreciate nature, her pictures of nature show that you should, since your surrounded by many Nature.
c. Lina's "Dream by Miley Cyrus" because since her theme was dream, it went really well with her pictures and other information.
d. Rachel's "See me grow up" because since her theme was growing up, her specific prose piece has really come together and matched.
e. Adara's "Family" because I felt that her description of her analysis was really good, although it was short it had a big meaning, and it was understandable.

2.) Maurice's his theme of "Memories" had already stood out because seeing that we just ended school and the page where there were memorable pictures were just so touching, from the beginning of the year to meeting people, working with them, and having the year end is very sad. The pictures of his website, colors and everything was really great.

A. Adara's analysis on "Your Clothes" because it clearly explained every part of the 5 step process in detail and the main idea pulled together the whole poem.
B. Brooke's first poem "Nature". Not only the fact that the title is the same, but because the poem conveys the same positive expression of how valuable and beautiful the world around us is as her theme does.
C. Rachel's song "Skyscraper" because I felt that this song did a really good job at expressing the experience of growing up and getting stronger and wiser, and realizing that nothing can/should bring you down.
D. I picked Taylor's second prose piece "When Opportunity Knocks" because it was a entertaining and sweet story that really conveyed the message that you need to take chances and take risks and not be afraid.

2. This one would have to be to Dustin, because the animation before you enter the website is really eye catching. Also, it matches the theme, because you really can't *not* be happy with those little birds flying around.

B- Maurice's "photograph" matched his theme memories, because when looking back at a photo you can reminisce on all the things that happened in the past.

C- Rachel's "Skyscraper" matched her theme of growing up/self acceptance, as the song is about the artist accepting who she is.

D- Adara's "Communicating openly with your child" matches her theme of parent and child relations.

E- Taylor's "Give me wind" analysis explained what the poem was about.

2)Dustin's website matched his theme of happiness.

A-I chose Dustin's "How happy is the little stone" because he explained every bit of detail in the poem such as analyzing odd words and metaphors.

B-I chose Rachel's "See me grow up" because it fell perfectly into one of her themes "Growing up". In the poem, it's sort of like a time-lapse structure.

C-I chose Dior's "Stand Up" because her sites theme was "Stand up for what you believe in" and you can tell from the lyrics that its about peoples rights and such.

D-I chose Dustin's website again and the piece that fit well with his site was "Happiness fights disease" because you can tell that not only from the title itself, but also in the article.

E-I chose Eyrn's site and the way she describes ALL the poems made me understand her selected poems a lot more.

2)- I chose Dustin's website because I liked the way how he included a title page and the animations really fit his theme "happiness" because of seeing all these birds flying around.
